Annual Report (South Africa, 2002)


It is a great pleasure for me to submit my Post Program activities report to IYEO, since I joined the SWY family last year 2001

I held the workshops at the following places:

• Potchefstroom (North West Prefecture)
• Diplankeng, Magogong (Northern Cape Prefecture)
• Vryburg (North West Prefecture)
• Taung (North West)
• Cape Town (Peninsula Techinkon)

I have formed and launched volunteer structure at the Potchefstroom, Taung and Vryburg.
I have personally volunteered to serve at many structures viz:

• S.A.Police (Taung) as a dep- c/man of the project of nexus combating drug abuse

I represented SASWYAA at the Youth Parliament North West Legislature in Mmabatho- 27 June 2002 (Regional Session)
I engaged the office of the consul of Japan in Cape Town (Mr. Tanimoto-swy8), 16-10-2002, concerning the resources access to the fax machine, and I got permission.

The South African Youth Ministry is showing no support, hence I reported the matter to the office to the President and we had a meeting, they promise to support my activities in the future.
From the Government site I got support from my aunt who is a member of the Parliament (MP) in Cape Town.

My aunt's support can be estimated at US $ 500 (transport, accommodation and food) she is Mrs. Rebecca Kasienyane.
My personal contribution is US $ 500, which is mainly from my study finance.

I kept in touch with members of my delegation, which were no fruitful result concerning Post Program activities including Lynn Adams.

I got another support from Potchefstroom University thus to use their premises for my activities at half price, I made this arrangements with: Dr Rina Van Zijil and Prof Steyn Faculty of Educational Science.
